The goal of this study is to examine factors that may contribute to the development of feminist values and flexible gender role ideologies in men and women by examining variables related to adult identity development. Specifically, we plan to examine the connections between indicators of gender role socialization, adult gender role identity exploration, general identity exploration, and adult attachment. We are particularly interested in recruiting men and women of color and sexual minorities because we believe that it is important to have an inclusive representation of people’s experiences over all races and sexual orientations.
